The proper way to roll would be to let the shoulder touch the ground when rolling so the head does not get affected and will not get hurt.

Climbing is also very important as it is one of the most basic things to do when one is taking free running. In order to be able to take the intense climbing, it is important that one would develop his abdominal muscles. It is these muscles that will help one be able to force himself up while he is scaling a wall.

Also, vaulting techniques will be taught because one will be jumping over things a lot when he is free running. If one is a beginner, he must first start by jumping over small things first. As his training advances, then he can use his hands to try to push himself to jump over a taller object.

So basically, those are some of the techniques that one will be learning if he decides to take up parkour new york. One must always remember to be very careful if he decides to push through with this art. If one is not careful, then he may actually get hurt in the process.
