The Golf Attractions Of Boca Raton City

While in Florida, there are so many places to visit. Palm Beach County, in the state of Florida hosts the beautiful city of Boca Raton. It is a city located between the shorelines of Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale. It is a place small enough to capture the attention of introverts and big enough for the extroverts.

Among the many attractions of this City, is 1500 miles of parks as well as hiking paths. The hotels are classy, exquisite and offer a breath of fresh air to residents and visitors alike. The food and night life of the city is enchanting, the people warm and friendly and the beaches unforgettable. However, the one place you have to visit in the City is the golf courses.

This city is home to many golf courses. In fact they are thirty four in number and choosing one may be quite difficult. These courses are either privately or publicly managed or owned. Those that are public are owned and managed by the Municipal. Municipal Golf Course is one of these publicly owned golf courses. It consists of a championship course and an executive course.

The Municipal Golf Course is located conveniently off Glades Road. Championship course has eighteen holes and 6,714 yards worth of field measured from the longest tees. The executive course is eight holes course measuring 1877 yards with a par of thirty. The course is green with perfectly manicured lawns and winding lakes. Private golf courses also exist.

The Stonebridge Golf Club has a private golf course with 6808 yards of space and eighteen holes. There are a set of six tees to accommodate golfers of all skill sets. The Polo Club is home to twelve water hazards, eighteen holes and measures 6253 yards from the longest tees. In addition, it has a slope of 128 and a par of 71.

If you are a country club person, there are many which offer golfing courses in this City. Bocaire Country Club is a residential club in the peaceful suburbs. It has a closed membership policy and offers a two championship courses amid all other amenities offered by a country club. Woodfield Country Club is privately managed and has eighteen holes offering the serenity of a resort as well as the benefits of this club.

St. Andrews Country Club hosts the Arnold Palmer Course which is managed and owned privately named in memory of Arnold Palmer. It is eighteen holes golf course with a field measuring from the longest tees a distance of 6526 yards. The course has five tee sets for all golfer levels. Bermuda grass is used in making the greens as well as the fairways. It is a closed membership club. Members are free to enjoy many amenities that come with club membership.

There are numerous other golf courses in this City. Both visitors and residents will find the courses enjoyable and memorable. It is prudent to first call the golf course and determine whether they are open or closed membership. In addition, whether the golf items such as clubs or carts are available for hire or whether you have to bring your own. Always book, the tee spaces may not be always free.
